Dreamland on Fire is a limited release from Strathcona Spirits, Edmonton's first craft distillery. It marks the first anniversary of the fire at the distillery on 18 December 2024 and was released in late December 2025. The whisky was made from casks that had been stored in a part of the building the flames did not reach.
It is the 13th release in the distillery's Dreamland series: a 7-year-old blend of a high-rye base with single malt, matured in Armagnac and Cognac casks. It is bottled at 44.4%.
The nose has toasted oak, dried stone fruit and a hint of rye spice. The palate is rich and velvety, with apricot, plum and honey, ending in a peppery finish.
