Suntory Hibiki 21 Year Old is a Japanese whisky blended from pure malts that have aged in some of the country's finest casks, including rare Mizunara oak.
The nose is floral and fruity, with orange, peach and apricot over oak, vanilla and honey. The palate is smooth and fruit-forward, with plum, cherry and citrus, and subtle cinnamon and ginger. A delicate sweetness runs through it.
The finish is long, with lingering oak, a touch of dark chocolate and a warm, subtly smoky close.
