Suntory Hibiki Harmony (43%)

Hibiki Harmony is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, bottled at 43%. It was launched in 1989 to mark Suntory's 90th anniversary. It combines malt and grain whiskies from three Suntory distilleries: Yamazaki in Kyoto, Hakushu in Yamanashi and Chita in Aichi. The bottle has 24 facets, one for each of the 24 seasons of the traditional Japanese calendar. The colour is bright amber. The nose offers rose, lychee, rosemary, sandalwood and honey. The palate is honeyed and silky, with candied orange peel, white chocolate, apricot and a touch of cinnamon. The finish is long, with Mizunara oak and citrus peel.
