Suntory Toki Blended Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Suntory Toki is a Japanese blended whisky from the House of Suntory, in a 70cl bottle at 43%. It brings together whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries, with Chita grain whisky and Hakushu malt in leading roles and Yamazaki malt adding depth. It has a clear gold colour and comes in a rectangular bottle with an off-centre label. It is suited to a Japanese Highball. The nose offers basil, green apple and honey. Grapefruit, green grapes, peppermint and thyme follow on the palate, and the finish is subtly sweet and spicy, with vanilla oak, white pepper and ginger.
