The Balvenie 14 Year Old The Week of Peat is a peated Speyside single malt from the Stories series, bottled at 48.3% abv in a 70cl bottle. It takes its name from the distillery's first Week of Peat, held in 2002. The barley for that first peated batch was grown by the distillery's farmer in an original field and peated in the malting kiln. Handling the peated malt filled the distillery with an intense peat reek.
