This is a 25 year old Speyside single malt from Balvenie, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is a special project of Master Distiller David C. Stewart MBE, who chose the American and European oak casks himself.
The whisky reflects the spicy oak it matured in for 25 years.
The colour is light gold. The nose offers honey, candied orange, oak and gentle spice. On the palate are vanilla, oak, toasted marshmallow, berries, apple pie and cinnamon. The finish is long and sweet.
