The Dalmore – 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select

This is a 12 year old Highland single malt from The Dalmore, part of the distillery's Principal Collection. It shows the link between the distillery and sherry. The whisky spends its first ten years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, which lay down the house style of chocolate, orange and spice. It is then finished in a blend of hand-selected sherry barrels from Andalusia in Spain, adding sweet fruits and autumnal spice.
