The Dalmore 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select is a Highland single malt bottled at 43% vol. in a 70cl bottle.
It spends its first 12 years in former American bourbon casks, then moves into specially made ex-sherry casks that previously held Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry.
The nose combines caramel, orange, honey, spice, ginger and raisins. On the palate come dark chocolate, almonds and a little cinnamon. The finish brings fruit and sweetness, with mango, lemon and baked notes.
