The Dalmore 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky matured in stages. It spends its first years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then is finished in three different Spanish sherry casks, including Apostoles Amoroso and Matusalem Oloroso.
The nose brings orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg and dark chocolate. The palate has rich sherry fruit, molasses, vanilla and warming spice. The finish is long and smooth, with lingering oak and cocoa.
