The Dalmore Vintage Collection 2006 is an 18 year old Highland single malt, bottled at 47.2% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky matured first in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then was refined in 30 year old Matusalem and Amoroso sherry casks.
The nose brings sherry-soaked raisins, roasted figs, cedarwood and honey. On the palate there are dark fruits, liquorice and cacao, lifted by bergamot and blood orange. The finish carries cassia bark, dark chocolate and old sherry notes.
