The Dalmore 2009 Vintage is a 15 year old Highland single malt from the distillery's annual Vintages Collection, bottled at 48.9% in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The whisky was first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks from Gonzalez Byass and in Graham's 10 Year Old Tawny Port pipes.
The colour is chestnut brown. The nose offers Manuka honey, dark plum, black pepper and clove. The palate brings tart cherries, dates, Seville oranges and fresh figs, with cacao, ginger cake, roasted chestnuts and warming wood spice.
