The Dalmore 45 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery at Alness, in a 75cl bottle. Its finish is an unusual one: five years in Colheita Port pipes from the 1961 and 1963 vintages, which were themselves more than 50 years old when they were used.
Colheita is a single-vintage tawny port. After its time in the port pipes, the whisky was married and finished in first-fill American oak barrels.
