The GlenDronach The Parisian Room is a Highland single malt from the distillery's House Editions collection, released for its 200th year. Master Blender Dr Rachel Barrie drew on Parisian artistry, grand boulevards and traditional French patisseries.
It was matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, then finished in French Cognac casks. It is bottled at 49% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers honeyed grapes, ripe plums, apple tarte Tatin and elderflower. The palate has baked fig pastry, glazed walnuts, Medjool dates and juicy peach. The finish is long, with nutty notes, chocolate truffle and gentle oak spice.
