The GlenDronach The Sevillian Room is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, released as part of the distillery's 200th anniversary and the GlenDronach House Editions collection. It comes in a 1 litre bottle at 43%.
It was inspired by the streets, orange groves and sherry traditions of Seville, and matured in a combination of Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and Palo Cortado sherry casks.
The nose is Seville orange and honeysuckle with toasted oak, aged leather, roasted nuts and Mediterranean spices. On the palate, Manuka honey and roasted nuts meet blood orange marmalade and cinnamon. The finish brings orange peel, toasted nuts and warming spices, with a mellow café au lait note.
