The Glenlivet – 12 Year Old Double Oak (1L, 40%)

The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Double Oak is a single malt Scotch whisky matured in European oak and American oak casks. It is first matured in traditional oak, then spends time in American oak casks, which add notes of vanilla. Water from Josie's Well is used for mashing and fermentation, and the height and width of the copper stills are said to add a delicate yet complex character. It is bottled at 40% in a 1000ml bottle. It is described as smooth, balanced and fruity.
