The Glenlivet 14 Year Old Cognac Cask Selection is a Speyside single malt in a 375ml half bottle, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof). It is matured for 14 years and then finished in former Cognac casks.
The finish in French oak adds subtle sweetness and fruit depth to the distillery's fruit-forward character.
The nose offers ripe pear, mandarin orange, honey and a touch of cinnamon. On the palate there is creamy vanilla, baked apple, citrus and gentle spice with soft oak. The finish is smooth and lingering, with hints of dried fruit and warm spice.
