The Glenlivet 14 Year Old 'Cognac Cask Selection' is a single malt matured in bourbon and sherry casks, then finished for at least six months in ex-cognac casks.
The nose is sweet and fruity, with honey, apricot jam and sweet cinnamon bread, plus a subtle touch of spicy liquorice. The palate brings mandarins in syrup, ripe poached pears and chocolate-dipped raisins, and the finish is smooth and luscious.
