The Glenlivet – 14 Year Old Limited Edition Cask Strength (70cl, 58.6%)

This is a 14 year old Speyside single malt from The Glenlivet, bottled at 58.6% for The Whisky Club. It marks the first collaboration of its kind in the distillery's history of more than 200 years. The whisky was matured entirely in first-fill American oak casks and bottled at natural cask strength, without chill filtration and with natural colour. The nose brings orchard fruit, ripe pear, honey, vanilla bean and citrus zest, with caramel, toasted oak and light baking spice. On the palate come baked apple, vanilla fudge, butterscotch and sweet malt. The finish is long and warming, with vanilla, oak spice, honeyed fruit and gentle caramel.
