The Glenlivet 15 Year Old French Oak Reserve is a Speyside single malt aged for 15 years, in a 20cl bottle at 40%.
The nose is rich and oaked, with chewy resinous wood, a balanced acidity, fudge, Madeira and apple crumble with calvados. The palate is full and rich, with winter spice of cinnamon and cloves and thick oak. The finish is long and dry with a peppery note.
