This is a 15 year old Speyside single malt from The Glenlivet, bottled at 40% vol. in a 70cl bottle.
It matured in French Limousin oak casks, a wood more often used for fine wines and cognac. The result is described as a soft, aromatic and fruit-led whisky of golden colour.
The nose is soft and creamy, with a little butter, almond, mango and cinnamon. The palate is very soft, with intense fruit, nuts, sweetness and spice, and the finish is long, carrying almond and spice.
