The Glenlivet 18 Year Old is a single malt whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in American oak and sherry casks, which bring a spicy, fruity complexity. The colour is gold.
The nose is fruity, with caramel, a light touch of peat smoke and oak. On the palate it is very well balanced, with orange peel and oak, then nutty and floral notes coming through. The finish is long, with sweet raisins and spice.
