The Glenlivet – Caribbean Reserve (75cl, 40%)

The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve is a Speyside single malt with no age statement, bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. It was launched globally in April 2020. Part of the whisky is finished in barrels that previously held Caribbean rum from Jamaica. This gives a summery character that departs from the sherry-oak-led Speyside style. The notes describe tropical fruit, ripe banana, mandarin, vanilla and caramel toffee, over a smooth, fruity and floral Speyside base.
