The Glenlivet – Caskmakers Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

The Glenlivet Caskmakers is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a collaboration between the master coopers of Speyside and cask experts in Jerez, Spain. The coopers took ex-Spanish sherry staves and freshly charred European oak staves and rebuilt them, alternating stave by stave, into hybrid casks. The whisky therefore matures in contact with two different wood profiles at once.
