The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve is a single malt whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% vol. It is a tribute to George Smith, the founder of the Glenlivet distillery.
The whisky matures in new American oak casks, which give it a fine, spicy character.
The nose offers citrus fruit, vanilla and sweet fruit. The palate is fresh and mild, with sweet notes of pear and candied apple, and vanilla and oak coming through. The finish is medium in length, with light wood and vanilla.
