The Glenlivet French Oak Reserve is a 15 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, in a 70cl bottle.
A proportion of the spirit is matured for a limited period in a selection of French oak casks, which gives the whisky a rich, exotic character and a deep, intense gold colour.
The nose is creamy and rich with buttery notes. The palate is fruity and nutty, finishing with a lingering trace of sweet almonds and hints of spice.
