The Glenlivet – Nàdurra First Fill Cask Strength Single Malt (70cl, 60.4%)

This is a cask strength single malt from The Glenlivet's Nàdurra range, in a 70cl bottle at 60.4% abv. The range draws on 19th-century production methods, and this version is matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry oak casks from Jerez in Spain. It is released in small batches and is non-chill filtered. The sherry wood brings dried fruit and warm spice, and the whisky is a bright gold in the glass. The nose offers dried fruit and spice. On the palate it is smooth and creamy, with chocolate and marmalade.
