The Glenlivet Nàdurra First Fill Selection is a Speyside single malt matured entirely in first fill American white oak casks. This is batch FF0115, bottled in January 2015 at a cask strength of 59.8% (119.6 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
Nàdurra is Gaelic for natural, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. It is a light gold.
The nose is soft vanilla fudge and sweet ripe pears, with malt and fresh oak beneath. The palate brings juicy pineapple and ripe banana, with creamy vanilla and a zesty citrus note. The finish is medium and refreshing, with a lively warmth.
