Togouchi Beer Cask Finish Blended Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Togouchi Beer Cask Finish is a limited blended Japanese whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The finishing casks are oak barrels that first matured rum on the French island of Martinique, then were refilled with IPA beer in France. The nose is citrusy and hoppy, with a slight peatiness, sweet honey, nuts and corn flakes. On the palate come Galaxy hops, honey from the rum, roasted apples and spices, with citrus building mid-palate. The finish has bitter chocolate, citrus and subtle campfire smoke.
