Togouchi Sake Cask Finish (70cl, 40%)

Togouchi Sake Cask Finish is a Japanese whisky at 40% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is finished in oak casks that were first used to age white wine at Japanese wineries, and then to mature junmai sake brewed by Togouchi. The white wine and sake bring a light fruity scent and a moderate acidity, while the wood finish adds a sweetness like brown sugar. The colour is golden. The nose is fruity with ester notes. The palate is mellow, with brown sugar sweetness and moderate acidity, and the finish follows in the same vein.
