This is a five-year-old single cask Japanese single malt from the Sakurao distillery in Hiroshima, released as Whisky Magazine Hong Kong's 10th Anniversary bottle. It was distilled in October 2021, finished in a Calvados cask and bottled in September 2025 at 54%, with 298 bottles of 70cl.
The whisky was matured in the Togouchi Tunnel. The Calvados finish brings orchard-fruit character, and the nose is of baked apples, poached pears and honeyed pastries.
