Whitlaw 2013-2023 Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Horsemen No.3

A 2013 distillation from an Orkney distillery, bottled in 2023 under the Whitlaw name by Signatory Vintage at cask strength. It is Horseman No. 3 in Signatory's small-batch Horsemen series, with an outturn of 1,285 bottles. The whisky spent ten years in one sherry cask and two Bordeaux casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose offers heather honey, gentle peat smoke, caramel, nuts and soft oak spice. Heather honey, peat and berry fruit shape the palate, and the finish is long and complex, with earthy peat smoke.
