A 2014 Highland Park bottled under the Whitlaw name by Càrn Mòr, aged seven years. It was finished in an STR cask (shaved, toasted and re-charred) and carries a Barbados rum cask finish.
The outturn is 1,605 bottles from a single cask, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
Heather honey and pear lead the nose, with sherry notes arriving later. The palate brings red berry purée, jam and dark chocolate, and the finish is medium to long, oily and dark-fruited.
