Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select 2022 Holiday Edition is a Kentucky straight bourbon made at the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky. The 2022 release wears a gold foil wrap with a glittered label and is bottled at 45.2% (90.4 proof) in a 1 litre bottle.
The mash is 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills and matured in new charred American oak.
The nose has dried fruit, vanilla and toasted oak with hints of mint, orange and cocoa. The palate layers caramel, honey and dark chocolate over cinnamon, nutmeg and gentle rye spice. The finish is long and silky, with lingering spice and toasted wood.
