Woodford Reserve – Distiller's Select 2025 Holiday Edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (1L, 45.2%)

This is Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select, the distillery's Kentucky straight bourbon, in its 2025 Holiday Edition and a 1 litre bottle. The mash is 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley, and the spirit is triple distilled in copper pot stills. It is bottled at 45.2% ABV (90.4 proof). The label was designed by Alexandra O'Neill, founder of the New York fashion house Markarian, the first time the distillery has given the job to a fashion designer. Winter berries, stars and a sage green ground draw on the evergreens and historic buildings at the distillery in Versailles, Kentucky. In the glass it is a rich golden amber. The nose brings dried fruit, vanilla and toasted almond, and the palate is rounded and full, with caramel, honey and dark chocolate. The finish is long and silky.
