Woodford Reserve Double Double Oaked is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, made by Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall. It first appeared in 2015 as a Distillery Series bottling and reached a wider 700ml release from 2025. It begins as Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, matured for 5 to 7 years in new charred American oak, then moves into a second heavily toasted, lightly charred new oak barrel for up to two more years. The mash bill is 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley, and it is bottled at 45.2% ABV (90.4 proof). The nose brings maple syrup, dark butterscotch and bittersweet chocolate. The palate is dense, with dried cherry, blackberry jam and clove, and the finish is long and drying with dark chocolate and wood smoke.
