Woodford Reserve – Engraved Distiller's Select Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

This is Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select Kentucky Straight Bourbon, bottled at 40% abv in a 70cl bottle. This limited release carries the engraving "The best deserves only the best". Bourbon-making began on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in 1812. The colour is a clear honey amber. The nose has dried fruit, mint and orange with a dusting of cocoa, plus faint vanilla and tobacco spice. The palate is rich and rounded, with citrus, cinnamon, cocoa, toffee and caramel, and the finish is silky, long and warm.
