Woodford Reserve – Engraved Distiller's Select Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

This is a limited release of Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and engraved with the line "The best deserves only the best". Bourbon making began on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in 1812. The bourbon is said to hold more than 200 detectable flavour notes, from grain and wood to sweet aromatics, spice, fruit and floral tones. It is a clear, honey amber in colour. The nose has rich dried fruit, mint, oranges with a dusting of cocoa, and faint vanilla and tobacco spice. The palate is rich and rounded, with citrus, cinnamon, cocoa, toffee and caramel. The finish is silky and long.
