Woodford Reserve – Holiday Edition 2018 (1L, 40%)

Woodford Reserve Holiday Edition 2018 is a Kentucky bourbon in a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV. It is an annual holiday release, and the label shows a snowy distillery scene titled Winter Spirit, painted by Lynn Dunbar of Louisville, Kentucky. It pictures snow-covered barrels and the Scale House, one of several historic buildings on the distillery grounds in Woodford County. The nose has dried fruit, mint and orange with a dusting of cocoa, plus faint vanilla and tobacco spice. The palate is rich and rounded, with citrus, cinnamon, cocoa, toffee and caramel. The finish is silky and long, with a warm tail.
