Woodford Reserve – Kentucky Straight Rye (70cl, 45.2%)

Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Rye is a Kentucky rye whiskey in the traditional style of the state, bottled at 45.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is described as bold with pepper and tobacco, followed by a long finish of fruit and sweet spice. The nose is spicy, with rye, black pepper, cedar and cassia bark sweetened by a dusting of marzipan, and hints of pear, apple and almond. The palate brings clove, rye, mint, molasses, sorghum and honey, with touches of apple and malt.
