Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Wheat Whiskey is a wheat whiskey inspired by historic wheat recipes and by the distillery's bourbon style. The mash bill is 52% wheat, with corn, malt and rye.
It was aged in new charred American oak barrels.
The nose is lively, with spicy applesauce, toasted coconut, cocoa nib and fresh mint. The palate is smooth, with warming spice, sweet grains and light fruit. The finish is long and gently earthy, with oak, soft spice and cocoa.
