Master's Collection Very Fine Rare is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Woodford Reserve, released as Limited Edition Series No. 16 and selected by the Master Distiller. It is bottled at 45.2% (90.4 proof) in a 75cl bottle.
The colour is a burnt sienna. The nose combines rich oak, caramel, brown sugar, chocolate and vanilla, moving into cured tobacco with a lift of apple. On the palate, very old oak is sweetened with honey, with citrus, apple peel and a little clove. The finish is long, with raisin and malty sweetness.
