Woodford Reserve Straight Malt is a Kentucky straight malt whiskey, made from a mash of 51% malt and aged in new charred oak barrels. That differs from a typical 100% malt whiskey, and it is aimed at bourbon drinkers.
The 51% malt base is described as richly flavoured and complex, and it amplifies the nutty character found in the original Woodford Reserve.
