1792 Bottled in Bond is a Kentucky straight bourbon made at a distillery in Bardstown, which is described as the oldest fully operating distillery in the town. In a 75cl bottle, it is bottled at 100 proof. As a bottled-in-bond whiskey, it comes only from barrels filled during the same distilling season, in keeping with the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. The tasting notes describe spice with charred oak and fresh mint, caramel apple tones, and a lingering note of coffee and black pepper.
