1800 Cristalino is a tequila from Jalisco in Mexico, made from 100% Weber blue agave harvested at full maturity.
It begins as an Añejo, aged in French and American oak. The separate batches are then blended and finished in port casks. A filtration step restores the clarity of a blanco while keeping the aromatic depth gained during ageing.
The nose offers oak, vanilla and dried fruit. The palate is round and silky, with nuts, light caramel and a touch of citrus for freshness. The finish is long and velvety, with woody and fruity notes in balance.
