A reposado tequila from the 1800 house, produced in Mexico from agave. It is rested in French and American oak barrels for six to nine months, developing a complex, harmonious flavour. The colour is a light amber, with notes of vanilla and caramel alongside citrus freshness and spicy nuances typical of well-matured agave. On the palate it is balanced and soft, with a sweet entry of cooked fruit and sweet spices such as cinnamon, then more robust, earthy flavours, ending in a pleasantly long finish with toasted oak and black pepper. It can be sipped neat or used in more structured cocktails.
