2XO French Oak Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 46%)

2XO French Oak is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 46% ABV, the second blend in Dixon Dedman's Oak Series. It was produced and bottled by Prestige Beverage Group in Louisville. The brand's "Two Times Oak" approach gives every expression extra oak beyond the barrel. Here, chains of charred French oak are placed inside the barrels of a bourbon with an 18% rye content. The nose has a sharp peppery note with big vanilla and caramel, oak, maple, floral touches and banana. The palate is soft and velvety, with gentle vanilla and oak, black pepper, baked bread, white chocolate and anise. The finish is quick, with a hint of sweetness.
