The 45-47 Patriot Edition is a limited release American whiskey, matured in American oak and sold in a 75cl bottle.
The nose offers warm vanilla, light caramel, toasted grain and soft oak. On the palate there is honeyed corn sweetness, baking spice and toffee, with a hint of citrus peel. The finish is smooth and lingering, with gentle oak, brown sugar and a touch of spice. A splash of water is said to open up the caramel and citrus notes.
