This is a blended straight bourbon from The Nashville Distillery, bottled at 54.5% ABV (109 proof) in a 75cl bottle. The name 4547 refers to the 45th and 47th Presidents of the United States, and the label carries an American eagle.
It is blended from selected straight bourbon whiskeys and is described as full-bodied.
The nose brings caramel, vanilla bean, toasted oak, maple syrup and roasted pecans. On the palate there is dark honey, butterscotch, cinnamon, black pepper and dried fruit, with a velvety texture. The finish is long and warm, with oak, vanilla and a little smoke.
