5250 Appassimento Vino Rosso IGP 2019 (pack of 6)

A red wine made from selected red grapes from different origins, produced using the appassimento technique in Veneto. The 2019 vintage is mainly Primitivo, Negroamaro and Merlot. Both fermentation and maturation take place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, preserving the delicate, sweet and aromatic nuances from drying the grapes. The colour is dark ruby red. The nose shows dark cherry, blackberry and spicy black pepper. The palate has good sweetness and velvety texture, with dark berries and plums and a good bite at the end, supported by tannin. It suits grilled meat, lamb, beef and game, especially with forest berries, and can be used to marinate fresh strawberries in red wine.
