This is an old tawny port from A. A. Calem, dating from the 1960s and bottled at 20% in a 75cl bottle.
António Alves Cálem founded the house in Porto in 1859. It became A. A. Cálem & Filho once his son joined the business. The house traditionally used a caravel ship as its symbol, a nod to its trade and export routes, which included shipping port to Brazil in exchange for exotic woods.
